An account is optional. Every part of OpenDocScan — scanning, straightening, text recognition, exporting a PDF — runs on this device and works signed out, with no limit. Signing in carries credits across our apps; nothing here is behind it.

Signing in sends nothing about your scans. Your documents stay in this browser on this device — the account server never sees them, and there is no code path from the scanner to it.
